I designed this ring as a meditation on the closeness of things.

Are we ever touching?

Two atoms never really “touch” in the physical sense we understand. Atoms retain a distance from each other by this push and pull of positive and negative charges. 

We kiss, but our atoms don’t kiss… they dance. The distance between us is the taught string of our existence. Binding us together, but keeping us separate, wanting, longing.
